community rules
how a plot is lived on. every holder and every guest keeps them; the city and its residents amend them by proposal and vote under hak sewa template 10.5.
1. standards
| standard | page |
|---|---|
| water — supply, rain catchment, greywater, blackwater | water policy |
| light — warm light, shielding, night hours | light policy |
| soil — living soil, compost, biochar | soil policy |
| sound — quiet hours, zone levels, events | sound policy |
| air — clean fires, clean engines | air policy |

2. adat
the estate lives inside the customs of Desa Gesing. the Landowner records them per district before the first signing there and keeps the record current with the desa adat:
| item | record |
|---|---|
| desa adat and banjar | name; the awig-awig articles on land use, building and ceremony |
| subak | channels crossing the district; upkeep duty; water-sharing rule |
| ceremony | processional routes and temple approaches; the days they are used |
| contribution | the resident's contribution, in kind or money, and when it is due |
each item is shown to the holder at signing under 13.3 of hak sewa template.
3. keeping the rules
a first breach of a standard is put right at the holder's cost within the cure period of hak sewa template 16.1. the same breach repeated within 12 months of that cure is a material default on the second notice.
