staking
directing economic weight toward particles and axons. two mechanisms, two homes:
conviction — per-link
the $(\tau, a)$ a cyberlink carries is a box locked into that specific edge. high conviction on one link signals "I bet specifically on this connection." a box can be maintained, withdrawn (spend back to wallet), or transferred (spend to a new owner) — the assertion stays in $L$, the position is liquid. this is cybergraph's: see box for the full model.
will — broad
locking $CYB for a duration produces will, which auto-distributes attention across every link a neuron creates. longer lock → more will → more attention per link. will, attention, and how they feed the focus fixed point are computed by the tru — see will and tru.
the split
conviction prices a single claim (a box on one edge); will prices the neuron's whole portfolio (broad attention). together they give each neuron a range from passive participation to high-conviction betting. the economic input to focus — conviction + will-derived attention, weighted by karma and the ICBS market — is assembled and resolved in tru.
see box for the conviction box model · will for the lock mechanics · tru for how staking becomes focus.
