soul
versioned configuration of a named robot: preferences, behavioral constraints, model/tool choices, declared abilities and intended policy. soma interprets this configuration for cognition and task strategy. ward checks current authority and vault holds keys; the robot attaches neurons for explicit subject domains, networks and devices.
a task pins the soul revision used to form its intent. later configuration changes affect new tasks; applying them to running work is an explicit recorded control at a safe boundary. current revocations still apply immediately at the publication/effect boundary. imported instructions and learning proposals cannot issue themselves new permissions.
executable behavior is a prog under a neuron. the subject authors its signals through a supported signature/action profile. soul can select linking strategies, source scopes and schedules without becoming a separate contract account or root signer. foreign smart contracts retain their own named protocol semantics.
restoring a robot requires the retained configuration, attachment records, necessary graph/content and private custody under their recovery contracts. soul alone cannot recreate missing history, live grants or an unknown external outcome. log renders the retained history; avatar presents the robot.
