# the crystal

the genesis seed of cyber. a curated knowledge graph of 5,040 irreducible particles that boots a decentralized superintelligence on Bostrom.

## the problem

an empty graph has no knowledge and no attachment points. without structure, early contributions are random, disconnected, domain-biased. the graph that emerges reflects who arrived first, not the architecture of reasoning. the Crystal solves this by providing a curated seed at genesis: every concept needed for cross-domain reasoning present, every connection for inference pre-built, topology designed for cyberank convergence.

the seed determines the mind. a flawed seed produces a flawed intelligence permanently. missing domains create permanent blind spots. biased connectivity creates permanent reasoning distortions. the Crystal must therefore be irreducible: every particle earns its place because no composition of remaining particles under the grammar can fill its absence.

## the structure

five axioms generate everything:

- N = 5,040 (7!) — total particles: 60 divisors, divides evenly by 1–10
- T = 6 symbol types — entity, process, property, relation, measure, pattern
- D = 21 knowledge domains — 7 triads × 3 aspects, one question each
- φ = 10:4:3:2:1:1 — type ratio vector (Σφ = 21 = D)
- κ — link density per type

one grammar: 720 predicate particles (relations + patterns) that make irreducibility formally testable through subject–predicate–object triples. vocabulary-to-grammar ratio 6:1, matching the content-to-function word ratio of natural languages.

the 21 domains follow the cybics ontology — seven triads covering all knowledge, organized by the question each answers. cyber is one of the 21, contained in the WORK triad alongside ai and tech.

## what it is not

the Crystal is not a mind. 6.5 MB feels too small for a mind the same way the Periodic Table feels too small for chemistry. that smallness is the definition of a basis. the correct comparisons: DNA (4 bases) as the irreducible basis for life, the Periodic Table (118 elements) for chemistry, lambda calculus (3 primitives) for computation.

see crystal for the full specification: axioms, grammar, type system, domain structure, validation framework, and curation status.

five axioms. one grammar. twenty-one domains. an irreducible basis for thought.
