valence
the fifth field of a cyberlink: $v \in \{-1, 0, +1\}$. the epistemic prediction — the neuron's forecast of where the ICBS market on this edge will converge.
$$v(\ell) \in \{-1,\, 0,\, +1\}$$
| value | meaning | market prediction |
|---|---|---|
| $+1$ | affirm | the ICBS market will converge toward TRUE |
| $0$ | agnostic | no epistemic prediction — structural assertion only |
| $-1$ | negate | the ICBS market will converge toward FALSE |
the third layer
valence is the epistemic dimension of the cyberlink's layered structure, orthogonal to the other two:
| layer | field(s) | type | what it encodes |
|---|---|---|---|
| structural | $(from, to)$ | binary | connection exists or does not |
| economic | box $(\tau, a)$ | continuous | conviction depth |
| epistemic | $v$ | ternary | prediction of collective judgment |
every combination of $v$ and the box magnitude is meaningful — see cyberlink CRUD table.
what valence feeds (computed in tru)
the valence field IS the Bayesian Truth Serum meta-prediction — no separate submission step. how it scores, accumulates into karma, and enters the effective adjacency $A^{\text{eff}}$ through the ICBS market price $f(m(\ell))$ is computed by the tru, not here. cybergraph carries the field; tru runs the epistemic dynamics.
see cyberlink for the full 5-tuple · tru / truth-scoring for BTS scoring and karma · inversely coupled bonding surface for the market substrate.
