launch event: park
the public opening of the bridge district as a living fruit park — 4.8 ha of food forest with edible gardens, picnic grounds, growing workshops, and first harvest gatherings. the first event in the park's lifecycle as a community-tended space.
program
- opening ceremony: gate opening, intention setting, welcome from the bridge stewards
- guided walk: full tour through the fruit gardens — coffee, banana, avocado, taro, fig and seasonal produce
- growing workshop: soil, compost, companion planting, propagation — hands-on for 30 participants
- harvest feast: pick and share seasonal fruit with the community
- closing circle: reflections, seeds and cuttings to take home

open to all visitors with a daypass or higher. the park walk is free with entry. the growing workshop seats 30 — register via cart.
